Introduction
At TOKYO Night & Light, the projection mapping event held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Nishi-Shinjuku, a new work themed around the Pokémon Card Game will begin screening from March 20, 2026.

A New Work Inspired by the Pokémon Card Game, Which Marks Its 30th Anniversary This Year

TOKYO Night & Light is a projection mapping program that uses the eastern wall of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No.1 as a canvas, expressing a wide variety of art through light and sound in order to create a new nighttime tourism attraction for Tokyo.
Its opening event was held on February 25, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.
From March 20, 2026, a new work titled “Pokémon Card Game TOKYO LUMINOUS NIGHT” will be shown, inspired by the Pokémon Card Game, which is loved around the world and celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
“Pokémon Card Game TOKYO LUMINOUS NIGHT” Overview

Title: Pokémon Card Game TOKYO LUMINOUS NIGHT
Start Date: Friday, March 20
Screening Times: Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays at 6:30 p.m. / 7:30 p.m. / 9:00 p.m.
Note: Other projection mapping works are also screened at times other than those listed above.
Highlight: Pokémon depicted inside the cards, along with iconic visuals, are expressed three-dimensionally through light and video, creating a fantastical scene across the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building at night.
To commemorate the launch of “Pokémon Card Game TOKYO LUMINOUS NIGHT,” a mini-event featuring Pikachu and others will also be held on the first screening day, March 20.
