“Motsuyaki Ucchan” remains one of the busiest izakayas in Omoide Yokocho, often closing early once skewers sell out. During our visit, the shop closed around 8:00 PM due to demand.

Despite the small space, the atmosphere is vibrant, with friendly staff and the charm of Japan’s izakaya culture. If you spot an open seat, don’t hesitate—grab it before it’s gone.

Whether you’re looking for skewers, unique side dishes, or simply a place to enjoy a cold drink in a nostalgic Tokyo alley, Ucchan is highly recommended.
